Short Bio:
Tara Collins serves as Program Coordinator of Rutgers’ NSF-funded Megalopolitan Coastal Transformation Hub (MACH). In this role, Tara provides administrative and financial support to MACH and its various partners, researchers, project partners, and external collaborators. She shares her extensive expertise in communications, writing, editing, and people management. Prior to 2025, Tara worked in the nonprofit sector as a communications director for a rare cancer peer support group, affordable housing community developer, and NYC watershed’s landowner engagement nonprofit. She holds a B.A. in Communications-Mass Media.
