The Marine Field Station dormitory is located at 132 Great Bay Boulevard in Tuckerton, NJ. This dormitory is for the use of Rutgers University students, technicians and interns working at the Marine Field Station, as well as visiting scientists conducting research in the area.
The dormitory consists of six double occupancy rooms, as well as two larger rooms (one with 4 beds and one with 6 beds) on the second floor. These all share common male/female restrooms, also on the second floor. Twin XL bed linens and towels are not included with rental of these second floor rooms, and must be provided by those renting these rooms. The first floor has two “VIP” rooms that house up to 3 people and share a bathroom between them. Bed linens and towels are provided in these “VIP” rooms.
We have a well-equipped kitchen containing four stoves, two microwave ovens and several toaster ovens, cooking and dining utensils, as well as a large food storage pantry containing two commercial refrigerators and one commercial freezer. The dorm is also equipped with a library/TV room that has basic cable television. The entire dorm has wireless internet access. Clothes washers and dryers are located on the first floor in the Utility Room.
